Welcome!

Being a stepparent is a unique and challenging role, often leaving you feeling isolated and misunderstood. It can be difficult to find others who truly understand the specific struggles and triumphs that come with being a stepmother. That's why this guide is here to provide you with a sense of community and offer guidance on the day-to-day situations you may encounter.

I'M Alex

Hey there!

I personally understand the journey of being a stepmother. In 2018, I began dating my now husband Kevin, and simultaneously embarked on building a relationship with his three boys. Our lives took an unexpected turn when Kevin needed to obtain emergency custody, thrusting me into the role of a mother figure overnight.

Throughout this guide, I will share pieces of my own story to illustrate how I navigated the various phases of our blended family life. My hope is that by sharing my experiences, I can inspire and guide you on your own unique journey. Together, we can help you cultivate your own identity as a mother within your home.
